Which Brussels neighbourhood should you live in? Check out The Bulletin's comprehensive guide

03:00 28/09/2019
Which part of Brussels is right for you? We asked Bulletin readers for their insider tips

The Brussels-Capital Region, created in 1989, is made up of 19 communes (one of which is the City of Brussels). Each neighbourhood has its own distinct identity - from cosmopolitan downtown Brussels to greener suburbs such as Watermael-Boitsfort.

If you're trying to decide where in Brussels you should call home, look no further. The Bulletin asked its readers to share their insider tips and experiences of their commune. We received hundreds of responses - and here are our comprehensive guides to each of the city's different neighbourhoods.

(There are 22 guides, not 19, because Brussels-City has three outlying neighbourhoods - Laeken, Haren and Neder-Over-Heembeek, which are worlds apart from the city centre and each deserved its own article.)
